What I Hate - # 7

Traffic Enforcement Agents. These people are utterly useless.

example: just off the Upper Level of the 59th Street bridge in LIC there is a stop light(it's basically a 3 way intersection. you can make a right onto the Upper Level or go straight. From the opposite direction you can only go straight, so from 6AM-9:45AM the light is always green). From 6AM - about 9:45AM cars can take that road into the city. After 10AM it is only for cars exiting the city. At about 9:45AM the stop light begins to work again, but no cars have been allowed on the bridge yet to exit the city. There are traffic enforcement agents stationed at the entrance to both Upper Level entrances. They put cones there around 9:45AM. So approx. 2-3 Agents are standing right by the light. You know what they do? nothing. You have to wait till the fucking light turns green, which takes about 3-5 minutes to change. They won't wave you on, but they sure as hell see you and don't give a shit. So for that 3-5 minutes cars are stopped going in both directions of what for 15 minutes is just a 2 way street cause the lazy ass Traffic Agents are lazy asses. Why teh Fuck are they there?
